5TH INDIAN GEMMOLOGICAL SEMINAR - ORISSA

The 5th. Indian Gemmological Seminar (IGS - 5) was held at Orissa from 28th. October to 1st. November, 2003 with a grand splendor. The seminar was inaugurated by the Honourable Shri A. U. Singh Deo, Minister of Steel and Mines, Government of Orissa. It was also a re-union of the members of the Forum of Indian Gemmologists. Delegates from all corner of India assembled at the New Marrion Hotel, Bhubaneshwar, to share their views and exchange their ideas and knowledge about Gemstones. Over two hundred delegates from all states of India participated at the Seminar. Shri G. B. Pradhan was the convener and Smt. Nirupama Das the co-convener of the Seminar.
