GII has gone on-line on August, 11th at 11.00 a.m. at a function held at Yashwantrao Chavan Center, 4th Floor, General Jagannath Bhosle Marge, Mumbai - 400 021.

GII Website was inaugurated by Shri Pravin M. Nanavati, Vice Chairman of the Institute.

M/s. Inter-Graph, a well know Internet company in Mumbai has designed the Website for the institute.

Mr. Khushroo Lakdawalla Managing Director of Inter-Graph states that it is a matter of prestige to his company to design a website for the Gemmological Institute of India.  Mr. Khushroo recalls that his father late Dr. Noshir J. Lakdawalla was closely associated with GII in propagation of gemmology in India.

The Website covers the activities of the institute including the Courses offered, and Certification of Gemstones and Diamonds.
