GII after a long period of planning finally succeeded in setting up the Diamond Grading Laboratory as per the CIBJO standards. This is a giant leap in the field of certification of colour and clarity of diamond in India.

GII is the first institute in India to get the original CIBJO graded Standards. This will go a long way in boosting the diamond exports from India as well as creating confidence in the domestic consumer sector for diamonds.
